Project objectives, work packages and methodology have been presented, with the inclusive participatory approach through RLLs. The various IBM as initially proposed by LU team were briefly presented while emphasis was given to the two prioritized ones, WADA as an active women association with an important expertise in producing traditional dairy products, and Istaytiyyah farms for their expertise in managing small ruminant farming.
After the presentation, a dynamic discussion took place with a significant contribution of the participating stakeholders with respect to the country context, gaps and project impact for improving the silvopastoralism management and value chains.
